In this international workshop, participants from Germany, Indonesia, and other countries will collaboratively develop ideas for a treehouse hiking trail in Lore Lindu National Park. The aim is to combine architecture, environmental education, and sustainable tourism—with a focus on rainforest conservation and strengthening local structures.

Key topics include:

  • Best-practice examples (e.g. treehouses in the Black Forest, Germany)
  • Insights into the culture, nature, and traditions of Lore Lindu National Park
  • Fundamentals of treehouse building and timber construction
  • Small group work on treehouses, shelters, and hiking paths
